It is commonly known as a great outdoor music venue pulling fans from the city of Chicago as well surrounding suburbs, and even neighboring states. The facility was formerly named Tweeter Center Chicago, World Music Theater and New World Music Theater. With seating for up to 28,000 the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre gives residents of Chicago a goto summer venue for outdoor concerts. The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre was opened in 2000 under the name of the Tweeter Center, and after that was known as the First Midwest Bank Amphitheater for years.
